Bamboo cutting board shall be hand washed with a mild detergent in hot water only, rinse and wipe dry immediately after each use. Dry in an upright position.
WARNING: Do not use in a dishwasher! Harsh chemicals and detergents will ruin the natural bamboo materials of your cutting board. The draining board and pot holder grid are dishwasher safe.
Periodically treat bamboo surfaces with a solution of warm water with baking soda and lemon juice; rinse and wipe dry immediately; allow cutting board to fully dry and then apply one or more coats of food-grade mineral oil (food-grade beeswax, coconut, carnauba oils are suitable alternatives), wipe off any excess oil with a clean cloth. The application of the oil helps restore the bamboo's original brightness/colour and extend the life of the product.
