The Amadeo decanter was created in 2006 to commemorate RIEDEL's 250th anniversary. It is named after Austrian composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, whose 250th birthday was also celebrated that year. This hand-blown decanter is designed in the shape of a lyre and offers a smooth pour. Wine is easily poured into the decanter's wide opening and then into the glass through its thin spout. Made from precision blown glass, the Amadeo decanter exudes a timeless elegance with a touch of green ornamentation that highlights its iconic lyre design.

This traditional glassblowing technique originated in Venice, known for its exceptional glassworking expertise and still practiced by a select few under the Riedel name.
