5 Unique Cocktail Recipes to Rock Your Next Get-Together

1️⃣ Aperol Frozémonade

First on our list is a fruity and Instagrammable cocktail recipes that is sure to appeal to the rosé lovers in your party.

Aperol Frozémonade

  • 4 oz. dry rosé
  • 3/4 oz. fresh lemon juice
  • 1 oz. simple syrup
  • 1 oz. Aperol, for float
  • Ice
  • Mint sprig (for garnish)

Add all ingredients except for Aperol and mint into a blender, and blend until smooth. Pour into a 12-ounce Ball jar or glass and drizzle. And your rosy drink is all ready to serve!

2️⃣ Sazerac

The second recommendation is the sassy Sazerac. Although the Sazerac cocktail did not get the print platform until the early twentieth century, the drink is way older than that. A New Orleans classic, this anise-scented libation comes from New Orleans’ Sazerac Coffee House in the mid-1800s.

White Russian

  • 1 ⁄ 2  tsp. sugar
  • 2 oz. Sazerac rye
  • 2 dashes Peychaud’s bitters
  • 1 lemon peel twist
  • 8 drops Herbsaint liqueur

Mix sugar in 1 tsp. water in a shaker; full of ice pieces. Add rye, bitters, and peel then stir to chill. Coil Herb-saint in a rocks glass; discard. Strain the rye mixture into the glass. Present it with ice water.

3️⃣ London Buck

Our third recommendation is the London Buck which is for sure a unique addition for G&T lovers. Strong in flavour, it has a refreshing taste thanks to its citrusy notes.

Peanut Punch

  • 2 oz Gin
  • 1/2 tsp Maraschino liqueur
  • 2 dashes Orange bitters
  • 1/2 tsp Sugar syrup
  • 1 twist of Lemon peel

Stir all ingredients (except lemon peel) with ice and strain into a highball glass. Add the twist of lemon peel and serve.

4️⃣ White Russian

A creamy beverage served with vodka, coffee liqueur, and cream poured with ice in an Old Fashioned glass, our fourth recommendation is as powerful as it sounds.

White Russian

Main Alcohol

Vodka, Coffee liqueur

  • 1½ oz. vodka
  • 3/4 oz. Kahlua
  • 3/4 oz. heavy cream
  • Old-fashioned glass

Combine coffee liqueur with vodka into an Old Fashioned glass full of crushed pieces of ice. Float fresh cream on top and stir slowly. Served: On the rocks; poured over ice.

5️⃣ Peanut Punch:

Last, but definitely not least is this tropical punch which is sure to remind you of your last beach vacation! It’s a traditional Caribbean island drink and it’s one of the top 5 preferred Jamaican cocktails to date.

Peanut Punch

  • 2 scoops of peanut butter
  • 125 g evaporated milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla essence
  • 60 ml honey
  • 60 ml white rum (optional)

Note: Once you’ve made this basic or traditional peanut punch you can experiment a bit by adding some of these ingredients…
    • dash vanilla essence
    • ripe banana
    • dash nutmeg
    • honey
    • granola

*Condensed milk can be substituted by sugar or honey as your sweetener or a combination of both.

Place all the ingredients in a blender with ice, and blend until smooth and creamy. Using a blender crush the ice in first. This way the condensed milk and peanut butter will go on top of it and not settle on the bottom where the blades will not reach. After the ice, put in the peanut butter, followed by the condensed milk. Then blend for about 30-40 seconds until everything breaks down and is blended evenly. Pour and serve in beautiful flute glasses.
